Dr. Ashlyn Demmers grew up in Calgary and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science at the University of Calgary. She then continued to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic in Portland, Oregon at the University of Western States. Family and the sunshine brought her back home to Alberta in 2019. Dr. Demmers developed a passion for sports at a young age. Her years of competitive dancing sparked an interest in anatomy, proper body biomechanics, and injury recovery. She was involved in Sports Medicine programs all throughout grade school. From then, she decided to help other young aspiring athletes remain healthy and pain free. Dr. Demmers has a passion for treatment that not only focuses on joint dysfunction and injuries, but also prevention of further injury. She is a multi-faceted chiropractor where no two patients will be treated the same and is excited to help you reach your health goals. Dr. Demmers is an evidence-based practitioner who is fully certified in Medical Acupuncture/Dry Needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM), Cupping Technique, and Muscle Activation Techniques and has additional training in McKenzie Technique and Kinesiotaping techniques. Outside of the office, Dr. Demmers enjoys dancing, golf, world travel and exploring new hiking trails with her big rescue dog!
