What is Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy?

The muscles that control your core stability, bladder, birthing and sexual function are all found in the same place in your body: the base of the spine. It’s not uncommon for these muscles to tense up and wrap themselves around your urethra, rectum, or vagina. They are meant to act like a hammock for the bladder, uterus, prostate, and rectum.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy is most commonly helpful for anyone with Chronic/Acute Back/Pelvic pain, Incontinence, Bladder Leakage, Before During or After Pregnancy, Abdominal, Gastroenterological, Prostate, Urological, or Gynecological surgical recovery, Testicular pain, Erectile dysfunction and more.
