Dr. Alanna Blumhagen is a born and raised Calgarian who graduated from the University of The Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at UFV Alanna played for the varsity women’s soccer team. After three years as a varsity athlete she decided to step back from playing and concentrate more on the scholastic side of university. However, she still had that desire to be a part of a team and this led to her discovering her passion for athletic therapy and developing a keen interest in the world of physical rehabilitation. She then received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree Cum Laude at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon in 2020.
Dr. Alanna practices using the diversified technique of chiropractic and is committed to helping her patients pursue their health and fitness goals. Her compassion for helping others affords her a unique approach to personalized and comfortable hands on treatment. She uses an evidence based approach to patient care and strongly believes in empowering her patients to take control of their own health to achieve mental and physical well being.
Dr. Alanna’s time as a varsity athlete has led to her desire to work with athletes of all ages, helping them optimize their performance on and off the court, field, or pitch. She is also very passionate in helping individuals improve their everyday function pain free and help them get back to doing the things they love.
