Acupuncture

Coming from a tradition that dates back over 2,000 years, Acupuncture is by far the oldest treatment offered at our clinic. Acupuncture involves using fine, sterile needles to penetrate the surface of the skin in order to affect the flow of energy and encourage a healing response for pain and a broad range of conditions. Unlike many other treatments on offer at our clinic, acupuncture does not involve any manipulation of muscles or joints. Highly trained therapists, specializing in this technique, insert needles at specific points either around the painful area or at other locations on the body. Each needle performs a role in the overall treatment, there are hundreds of recognized places to insert needles around the body, each patient’s treatment is totally unique.
